Bad Lighting

So, I don’t know if you’ve noticed but the lighting in all our photos is pretty awful.  It’s cause our light bulbs keep going out.  And we don’t have good lighting in the kitchen anyways.  I’m jealous of your lighting.  Especially Becca’s – such colorful photos! – Sarah

Empanadas and Skating in Randolph, Vermont

Yea, I got totally wrapped up in how good the empanadas tasted that I forgot to take a picture. Anna went all out! She had mini vegetarian ones, baked ones, deep fried ones, gluten free ones, and more! Below is the recipe for the masa empanadas that were fried. The recipe is from the “Empanadas: The Hand-Held Pies of Latin America”cookbook. We should make these for a meal sometime!

We made it again!

The Chipotle Chocolate Chili returns for the third time! We had Anna over for her birthday on January 8th and made her this meal. Its fantastic! Really, I recommend you give it a go! (Except make it with beef.)

Nerding Out

I’m totally nerding out on the blogging thing. But I guess we knew I would.  I mean making food and taking photos of it and then mumbling about it are pretty much my idea of a good time. And only stick will probably read this and that’s good cause she will appreciate it.  😉
